Just writing in to see how all of you are doing and how your pregnancies are progressing... Not much activity around... Let us post to say how we are doing and not just if there are queries if everyone is ok with it...

I have my anamoly scan the coming saturday and eagerly looking forward to it...also have started feeling movements everyday since the last week... very feeble and mild... but exciting :)

hi all

hey..hope everyone' s keeping healthy n happy..this is my 20th week and haven' t started feeling any movement yet:( i do feel something like bubbles once in a while but dunno what that is! Isn' t the movement supposed to be constant? have to get my next scan in june end, hope placenta is at the appropriate position (it was low-lying in the last scan).

Hi Neha

Hi Neha...

Dont worry.. your movements will get stronger in the coming weeks.. Is this your first baby, if yes..then it is only natural that you have only feeble movements at this stage and it will get stronger.. in either case , each pregnasncy is different and it will come up.. check with your doc when you go for your scan if you are worried... Also for the placenta, in some cases it will be low in the 5th month and will move up as your uterus stretches and grows.. its a cause for concern only if it is still low at the end of the pregnancy.. so relax and take care... do let us know how your scan went..

Good to hear from everyone

Its good to know that we are eagerly waiting for the next Scan to see our little ones and some of us have started feeling the movements...

Binny... you should feel the movements in the next couple of weeks. My EDD is 9th Nov and thats probably why I got to feel it earlier..

Disha and Prishi, Do let us know when you are due.. Will post once my scan is done on Saturday on how it went..

Other than that I have gained 4.5 Kgs till date.. not sure how much more I will gain...need to keep it in check so that I can avoid GDM if possible..

I am feeling light movements too..its there some times. Feels nice.
I have my ultrasound this week. All is fine otherwise..when is everyone' s due dates ?

DONT EVEN THINK TO GO TO CRADLE..

i have read so many blogs regarding cradle,manipal,Columbia Asia etc.. and found Apollo the best..tho bit expensive but is really a trustworthy..specially Dr. Chithra.. no wonder she is busy all the times...as she is good n people want to go to her only.. yes in Apollo they make us to wait a lot but atleast know how to take care of patients...

I too had lots of anxities after delivery...but am learning to get along with the baby now :)...I had problem of inverted nipples as well...
In diet am having lot of Bajra as it is supposedly good for milk..and yes..Shatavari KAlp with milk...

No special food for milk. Doc has advised me to continue calcium and iron tablets for the next 3 months. Other than that my mom gives me garlic and small onions (Sambar variety) fried in gingley oil with some smalt and little pepper to take with rice. Garlic is said to be good for milk.
