weight loss

Hi, I have 3.5 month old baby and am breast feeding. Had my delivery through C section. Presently I weigh 83kgs, and very depressed about the way I look. just started walking this morning, but my baby cries so much when I am not around so it has become really hard for me. Can anyone suggest :
1. How to pacify 3.5 month baby other than feeding? I feel I feed all time.
2. please suggest me best diet plan while am on breast feeding.

Hi there...hope you are doing well. Dont worry. An easier way would be to go walking when the baby sleeps. You must have started semi -solid once a day. After that you can go walking. I dont know what kind of support system you have at home but some mothers take their babies with them(in pram) if they are going early morning. If the problem is that the baby cries when you are not around then you can do one thing..fix a time for your walk, make sure that the baby is fed and safe, go for your walk at the same time everyday, the baby will get used to that time after a few days and cry less.
As for diet plan...normal meals which include lots of protein...moong chhilka dal, curd egg white, red meat, sabudana in any form, and most importantly two glasses of milk everyday. Lactonic granules(available at the chemist´ s) is good.

Hi Rishita,

Welcome aboard, It is good for the baby to be a full-term when he/she come out to the world. babies born in the start of 9th month(before 35 weeks) are considered PREMATURE. They might suffer few days of hospital stay with all tubes tied on them to monitor the wellbeing...do you want that to happen?

walking is always good, it ease your labour, you wont put on excess wait, reduce your blood sugar level. it is nothing to do with your change in due date. The baby will come out when it is destined to. we cannot advance/postpone the date of arrival externally.
