i had my tubes ties almost 4 years ago and it was the worst decision i have ever made. only a few months after the surgery i noticed a decline in my sex drive and sexual sensation. then i developed a chronic lower back ache and chronic lower abdominal pain. since then i developed insomnia, dry skin and hair, mood swings, depression, and loss of muscle tone. i have just found out through blood tests that my levels of estradiol and testosterone are far below normal. i believe this is a direct result of a loss of blood flow to my ovaries causing declining levels of the hormones that are necessary for my physical and emotional well being. i ahve found literally hundreds of articlas on post tubal ligation syndrome. my advice, don't do it! it can sabbotage your health.

sterlization seems to be the most effective bith control method and i belive it should be enforceable more often. especially in cicumstances where the mother keeps having children and she can't even support herself let alone her children. i think the court should use their authority and start sterilizing these irresponsible women.
