This is video where you can see the ‘Dahi Handi’ competition of the girls. One of the traditional ways to celebrate Krishna Janmashtami in Mumbai is for gangs of revellers to form human pyramids reaching up to 8, 9 or even 10 layers high to reach for a pot of curd (Dahi Handi) hung high above the street. While it's mostly men who form the tall pyramids, women actively participate too. Here's a group of women trying their luck at a Dahi Handi in Dadar, Mumbai.

Janamashtami
This festival celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna. It falls in between the months of July and August according to the Gregorian calendar.
