Since we do not usually use nursery rhymes, we think that we do not remember them. But as soon as you come across a small kid or when your child grows, you automatically hum and start teaching rhymes to your child. Well, this is because things we learn in very early childhood remains in our memory always.
Songs and nursery rhymes are the best way to offer small kids chance to develop foundation for language and learning that is extremely important for the development of skills like reading, writing and other academic skills. Nursery rhymes make children imagine a world and things in their own way. They paint pictures with their imagination in their heads.
