MUSHROOM CURRY

INGREDIENTS
1 pack mushrooms
1 cup grated coconut
1 onion
½ cucumber
6-7 red chillies, roasted
2 tbsp. oil
a little tamarind (soaked in water)
salt to taste

METHOD:

First, skin the mushrooms and peel and chop the cucumber and then cook them both together in a little water. Chop the onion and add half of it to the mushrooms, when tender. Grind the coconut, red chillies and tamarind to a fine paste. Add this masala to the mushrooms along with salt and let it boil.

For the seasoning, take hot oil in a ladle and sauté the remaining onions and then pour it over the curry. Serve hot.
