GINGER CHUTNEY

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup grated coconut
6 green chillies 
4-5 red chillies
a piece of ginger
a little tamarind (soaked in water) 
salt to taste 
 

METHOD:

First, grind the coconut, tamarind and red chillies. Then add the green chillies, ginger and salt and grind once again.

If you wish to season it, heat a little oil in a ladle and splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves in it and pour over the chutney. This is strictly optional.
