Very well written ..... This incident, I suppose has touched the child as much as it has touched you. Good that you made Ahan feel that important. Parents more often are ever passing orders to their little ones who can barely say what they want to say. They only way they can communicate is through their actions & expressions.....one should read them and communicate back to the child.

its actually not very difficult to understand a child's thoughts...just let youself go and then your mind will be freed from all complexities & u'll be able to enjoy and grow up with ur child... u never know how much more u can learn from him that u never learnt in ur textbook :-)

every child has a story to tell. I have a son who is 11 months and a week old and I do realize that they speak language of their own trying hard to make us understand their world, their thoughts. I have many times noticed my son telling, pointing to things trying desperate to commuincate his demands and the happiness on his face when I immediately respond to what he says is just out of the world. I feel we should never ignore to what kids r saying, to me its not babbling, its the best way that he can communicate to me. I see his expressions, his eyes doing the talking, he has beautiful expressive eyes. Sometimes am just mesmerised that how well he reacts, responds; my little one is growing into a toddler. I would miss the time for my lifetime. Oh, am being carried away. Must say its very well written article. A true and pure depiction of father and son's love and trust, the bond that exists, the confidence that built with the time.
