Weight Gain and Baby's Development

How much weight should I have gained by the end of this month

You should have gained roughly 4 pounds this month. Your total pregnancy weight by the end of this month should be about 18-20 pounds.
 

How is my baby growing

In the 3rd trimester, the foetus begins to develop fat. Placental functions and amniotic fluid begin to diminish. The baby weighs 3 pounds and can suck its thumb, cry, taste and even hiccup. It even responds to light, sound and pain.
