Fluid Retention, Clumsiness and Hot Flushes

My ankles are swollen

The necessary increase in body fluids causes mild oedema. Close to 75% of all women go through this at some point in their pregnancy. It almost always happens later in the day or even in warm weather. Relief can be found by elevating your legs or by lying down on your left side for a few hours. Support tights also help. You could try flushing out your system by drinking 8 glasses of water to ease out the water retention. If your hands and face also begin to swell, notify your doctor immediately.
 

I seem to have become very clumsy.  Is it because of pregnancy

Yes. Water retention combined with a loosening of the joints can make your grasp less sure than before. Concentration is also at its lowest ebb at this time. There's nothing that you can do about it. Just wait it out. And of course stay away from that beautiful Persian vase. 
 

I feel hot and sweaty even in winter.  Is this real

Yes, it's highly likely, what with your basal metabolic rate up by 20%. You will perspire most at night (or whenever your body is at rest). Drinking extra fluids and bathing often will bring temporary relief. You can also use a good anti-perspirant.
