I am just worried what will going to happen if the the cyst ruptured during pregnancy or in other case if the cyst continues to grow larger during pregnancy and becomes malignant. Does it need to undergo surgery while you are pregnant in order to be removed? Will it affect the baby?

at 9 weeks of my pregnancy i was informed that i had a cyst the size of an orange. this was confirmed when i was spotting and having painfull stabbing feelings on my left side, i found this very frightening as i thought i was at risk of loosing my unborn child

I found out at 5 weeks pregnant I have a corpus luptum cyst. It is very pain full and has even caused me to spot brown. I am now 11 weeks and I go for an ultrsound in 2 weeks I have heard babys heart beet 2 times alresdy. This is my 5th child, I never had touble with my other childrens pregnancy.

I had a Corpus LutuemCyst rupture,and it was extremely painful. I had surgery where they removed a lot of fluid from this cyst. I don't think the pain that this can cause is getting enough attention.

i am almost 5 weeks into my pregnancy with left sided pelvic pain. it feels like a quick jag to the side and then relieves promptly. i due feel dull ache as we speak. the ER doctor just told me that as my preganancy progresses, the cyst will in fact get smaller and then go away so the placenta can take over with the hormones. hope this helps. i am frightened myself but just seek medical attention immediately if there is a problem. -nurse susan J.
