My child has now become 20 months old after but now has become very stubborn and starts throwing tantrums for small things and whenever he does not get what he wants. But when he starts crying my father-in-law starts hitting him which I do not like. I feel that such involvement of grandparents is not necessary and will harm child’s development.

Involvement and support of grandparents is very important but some grandparents are responsible for development of bad habits in children. My father-in-law gives chocolates and candies to my son everyday which I don’t think is a good habit.

Involvement of grandparents is very important. Love and care of grandparents is very essential for growth and development of kids. I am a working mother and my mother-in-law is helping me very much in raising my child.
