ABOUT SUPPORT

SUPPORT stands for Society Undertaking Poor People's Onus For Rehabilitation.

SUPPORT  is a voluntary organisation working in the field of drug abuse and HIV/AIDS among street children, homeless youth and pavement families.

The organisation was registered in the year 1985. We run 5 day care centres in various geographical areas of Mumbai. The main activities that we conduct to achieve our objective in the various centres are non formal education, recreation, pre primary education, school admission, training women on issues of health, counseling the addicts, detoxification, rehabilitation, running
clinics etc. We have also enrolled around 200 children from the pavement to regular schools.
