Peanuts are a very rich source of protein. In fact peanuts contain about 25% of protein which is higher than the amount contained in any other nut. Hazelnuts are one of the richest sources of Vitamin E which is a powerful anti-oxidant. Pine nuts (chilgoza) are high in anti-oxidants and are also a rich source of magnesium.

Elderly people or those with heart problems should consume nuts with a caution. Though good for health some nuts are high in cholesterol
