Make sure the accessories you choose are relevant to you and not just eye-wash.

You can also choose to buy an assembled computer instead of a branded one. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. Branded computers are less powerful, but are more reliable and come with better warranties. Assembled computers are way cheaper, offer more flexibility and accessories. It really comes down to personal choice.
