Just couple of days back when we were coming back after collecting books and dress for the new session from her school, we were just passing by Mc Donalds so my daughter asked me to take her there, i told her that now i have left out with no money, so she asked that we can check out with her dad, i told her the same about her dad also, then she says no problem mamma atleast we can go to ATM to get the money. - Arti
My daughter was three years old when we visited Vaishno Devi shrine with her. I took her to my office one day. One of my colleagues asked her name and she said "Suvarna" in a low voice. My colleague could not hear and said "Jor Se Bolo" (speak louder) and my daughter instantly replied "Jai Mata Ki".

When my daughter was a year round, she had the habit of picking dirty pebbles off the road. To break this habit, I had told her that the pebbles would be dirty as the stray dogs would have peed on them. After 3 months of telling her this, her habit broke off. When she was a 1.5 yrs old, during a noon nap, she wanted a story. I started with the smart crow that drank water from a pitcher by dropping pebbles into it. The moment I finished the story, my daughter made a face and said "Dirty crow touches pebbles on which stray dogs have peed". The age-old intelligent crow was reduced to a "dirty crow" in a matter of minutes in my daughter's eyes :-) - Ashwini M N
