Hi,
I guess 4 years old is quite grown child so he/she is able to eat freely. For my child, we have set snacks for all weekdays. Like idly on monday, poha on tuesday, dosa on wednesday etc (all stuff, which is easy to digest). this is because in the morning children do not normally feel like eating heavy.
And for sleep, i guess 8-9 hrs night sleep is required for them. You got to make it practice for them to sleep early!
