Really informative article. Was unaware of different stages of labour and ways to deal with labour pains. This has really helped me to be better informed. Relaxation techniques do help in dealing with the pain as well as breathing techniques.

Labour is a very elaborate process and not what is shown on TV or in films. It is a series of different stages. In labour, there is pain due to contractions and the baby comes out. the last stage of labour is delivery of placenta. Pain can be efficiently managed by breathing techniques.
