I like to have plenty of salads in winter as all the vegetables are fresh. Winter vegetables are really crunchy and have a high water content so they make up for a good salad. I like to eat carrots, radish, lettuce and cabbage in form of salads.
In winter green peas, cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, squashes, greens are found in abundance so these should be eaten. Seasonal fruits are grown naturally and do not require much effort for their growth and hence they have less of pesticides and other chemicals but are full of nutrients so these should be consumed in the specific season only.
