Hello, the doctors recommend to sleep on the sides. Sleeping on the sides is considered as the best position to sleep in pregnancy. The left side is the best side to sleep in pregnancy as it helps in increasing the amount of nutrients and blood flow through the placenta which reaches the baby.

Hi, if you are pregnant you can also try keeping a pillow in between your legs and bend your legs. If this position is comfortable then you can sleep that way or else try the side position and then place the pillow between the legs and the abdomen.

You can try these positions, it may not sound comfortable if you are sleeping on your stomach or back. You will keep rotating positions over the night as you cannot sleep in one position for the whole night.

It is advised that you not sleep on your back as it can cause many problems like backaches, indigestion, breathing problem, low blood pressure or haemorrhoids and can also cause a decrease in the blood circulation to the baby and your heart.

A balanced diet is very important for a good sleep. On https://prorganiq.com/blogs/new/the-...ring-pregnancy I learned a lot about this. Women should consume more Omega-3 fatty acids during pregnancy, as this diet promotes the production of happiness hormones that keep you sane.
