Hi, feeling clumsy and uncomfortable during your pregnancy is the most common thing. All this clumsiness is due to the changes taking place in your body which tend to make you fall, slip and trip. The physical and biological changes are responsible for the clumsiness.

Hello, it is very obvious that the baby bumps shifts your center of gravity making you fall and trip and taking your balance off. Most often you lose your balance while climbing stairs or simply walking.

The hormones are responsible for this off balance which is caused quite frequently. The hormones help the joints and ligaments to loosen and this causes the extra fluid to retain which also causes carpal tunnel syndrome. This decreases the grasping and holding power.

The other reason being that you are completely exhausted as fatigue is the common reason for exertion in pregnancy. When you are tired and weak it is easier for you to fall and trip down.

Hi all, during pregnancy sometimes the women become forgetful. They forget things this also adds up in the clumsiness. Even simple to simple task might look like a hard task and in most of the pregnancies the clumsiness tends to be annoying.

You can also have dizziness or blurred vision at times. It is important to slow down and proceed with care. Wear comfortable shoes and avoid wearing slippery socks, keep the hallways and stairs clear so you do not trip.

The clumsiness will be with you for a while, do not pickup things which you don’t want to drop. Do not stand on chairs and stools, you might lose your balance and the results won’t be good.

Try to feel good about yourself and invest yourself in doing what you like. Try to avoid moving here and there frequently.
