Parents can only boost the confidence of their children as they are with them most part of the day. Parents mean a lot to the children and some motivating words from them does wonders for the kids and can help to make them confident and have a high self esteem. To motivate kids, parents should praise the kids even for minor achievements or efforts. When a child does something wrong, instead of scolding him or her, parents should be encouraging and should assure them that this is a part of life and that they should not take it to heart.

Parents should always try to motivate their children. By saying encouraging words such as never giving up hope and efforts. As said by Manthan, parents should boost the morale, when the kids are down or low. In case of failures, they must say 'don't give up, you can do it'. Such simple words have a profound effect on the kids and they quickly recover from their low phase. Parents must also have faith in their children and this they have to show them by trusting them and saying often that 'I have faith in you'.
