Try to help him prepare well ahead for the exams. Preparing well ahead prevents last minute jitters and he will less likely to forget his studies.

Try to reduce his stress by preparing him well for the exams, making him go to bed early and you can also ask him to do breathing exercises. Let him take break during studying so that his mind gets refreshed.

Hi, every kid has an exam phobia and tend to get scared and nervous when they hear about exams. Some children have a tendency to stress out during exam, it can be called as exam stress. There are children who undergo this stress and tend to become irritated, depressed, nervous and lose interest in food, start getting tensed and also are not able to sleep in the night. Children also start feeling negative and suffer from headaches, stomach aches which can be related to stress. In this case they need someone to talk to and who can be better than you to talk. You should support them and encourage them to study help them when they need.

A supportive parent is all what a child needs. As parents we should be able to help our children and be available for them whenever they need. Try to help them in their studies, be their study buddy and help them cope up so that they are more confident and ready. Encourage them to share things and not to worry about unnecessary things. You can also talk to their teacher in the school and keep a track of him and studies. Make him understand things he it is being difficult for him. Be a tutor and more of a friend than a parent.

Hi, exam means fear and majority of the children are scared even by the name of exams. They get nervous and forget everything, but you can help them calm down and concentrate on one thing. Make sure that he eats properly, add a balanced diet in your child’s meals which will help in improving his health and also help them do well in their exams. Eating healthy food will also make them increase their memory and they may not forget what is taught. Avoid giving the junk food as it can make the child a bit irritable, hyperactive and moody.

Hello, during exams children get stressed out and that directly affects the examination. Having a good sleep is always good but getting enough sleep in necessary. Some children study all night and next day tend to feel nauseous and have headache, the reason being awake all night. If the child is not feeling fresh then he won’t be able to perform well in his exams. A good sleep will help him to concentrate and think more. A compulsory 10 to 8 hours of sleep is required for a kid and sleeping is really beneficial.

It is important that you help your child study during the exams. Be flexible during the exam time and let your child only concentrate on studies. Parents should be quite flexible so that the child is not stressed and pressurised. All the other work can be done later on when the child is studying stop worrying about your household chores and untidy house, all that can be managed. Help your child during the revision time and take studies in a comfortable place where there are no distractions. Relax your child every time he feels nervous and anxious, make him feel confident and he knows everything whatever he has learnt.

Do not put the burden of your expectations on his shoulders. This may make his feel pressurised and anxious that if he does not live up to your expectation he will be a disappointment for you. Before going for the exam make them fell positive and confident. Avoid criticism and comparison between your child and his friends. Encourage him after each exam and tell him to focus on the next exam. Let him meditate or do yoga after some excessive study session just to relax or let him do exercise which ever he likes or involve in sports.
