waiting time for sex after childbirth

I would like to know what is the right time to have sex after giving birth to a baby? How long should I wait to resume sex?

    Sex after pregnancy

It depends on the recovery period of the woman. If recovery is faster, then you can resume sex after the sores have healed. It also depends on your own comfort levels. If you are comfortable and feeling happy, then you can have sex. sometimes the period differs from few weeks to few months.

No Sex till you are bleeding

You should wait until bleeding has stopped. It is about three weeks after your baby's birth. This is the healing period. If you have sex before the bleeding has stopped, you may get an infection. So wait till bleeding has stopped completely.

    Resume sex life after pregnancy

When you are physically and emotionally ready, then you can resume your sex life. some couples have sex within the first month after the birth, but it is best to wait for about 6 weeks after delivery to prevent infection and aid the healing process. If you both feel ready to have sex before your postnatal check at about six weeks after the birth, you can go ahead if you want to.
