Your hair will also undergo several changes, sometimes they will be dry, dull and might also fall out too much. Hair treatments during pregnancy is a complete no as all the treatments require harmful chemicals and products which are not safe for the baby. Using these hair products on the scalp can enter into the blood streams reaching the baby creating problem.

Tanning should be avoided in the pregnancy. Going out in the hot sun and getting exposed to the UV rays of the sun and the skin which is already sensitive might cause chloasma. The direct exposure of sun can also cause blotches on the skin. It is recommended that you wear a hat and apply sunscreen recommended by your doctor.

Aromatherapy or spas during the pregnancy can be taken and also avoided. In these therapies they use oils for the rejuvenation of the body. Sometimes these oils used are sensitive to the skin and also the smell might sometimes cause nausea. The oils used in the therapy should be discussed earlier with the Aromatherapist.

During pregnancy hair removal is also a big problem as you might find the growth to increase. Using epilators, wax and hair removing creams are to be avoided as they might cause reactions on skin as the skin is also sensitive in these days. Waxing may also cause pain sometimes as women tend to get sensitive. It is better to go for shaving which is a much safer option.

Some treatments should be completely avoided in pregnancy like intake of botox. This should be avoided completely in the pregnancy. Beauty treatments which include injections and syringes should be completely avoided. If the injections are injected in the blood veins it might cause harm to the baby.
