Hi iam NRI.this article is good,but here they have not mentioned by what age bottlefeed or cup should bestarted,my baby is 2months old andi am facing dificulty in introducing bottle even with expressed milk

some pediatricians are not bothered about convenience! i would express milk and take it with me when going out, and when baby cried, i would give him that milk from the bottle. much better than looking for a private place to feed baby, may or may not find a place, then rushing home wiht hungry screaming baby! i agree with this article. my kids never got respiratory probs or ear infections. any kid can get bad teeth - just put braces.

hi ia m a pediatrician and frankly was not really happy with htis article . i wholeheartedly protest against vottlefeeding tho i do admit its very convinient, but the side effects are many more Bottle feeding leads to introduction of infection in a babys system , this usually occurs due to poor hygiene. that s not all Studies have shown tthat bottle fed children have a much higher chance of repeated respiratory infections and ear infections. also some studies have mentioned abnormal teething in bottle fed children

good article. bottle feeding seems to be convenient but it is a little cumbersome to seterlise the nipple and the bottle every time. I have 2 kids and I never bought a bottle for them. They directly drank from a cup . Initially it took some time but gradually they loved it because all the grown-ups were drinking from a cup !!!!
