My personal experience indicates that feeding in a lying position is okay, as long as the infant's head is slightly elevated. I continued to feed my daughter in lying position, at least the night time feeds and did not encounter any problem.

Breast milk is best for babies, and sure it creates a very lovely bond between mom and child.I enjoy breast feeding my son who is only 4 months old and my first child as well.He is cute adorable healthy and always happy....never forgets to give me a wide toothless smile.I always ensure to feed him while sitting as it helps reduce pompness of my tummy.

I have happily breastfed two children. My first for two and a half years. My second I am still breastfeeding at 20 months. They have always been healthy and happy. I did not introduce solids until 6 months. Their speech is very clear which I believe is to the success of breastfeeding and no use of dummies. I have always fed on demand whenever they asked for it and never had a routine for feeding. I know that breastfeeding decreases childhood illnesses and will give them a fighting change against type II diabetes, heart disease and many others. For me it lessens the possibilities of cervical cancer, breast cancer and ovarian cancer. Breastfeeding builds a wonderful bond between baby and mother. I am clear I want to encourage all women to breastfeed promoting a healthier future for our world beginning with our children.

I am a plastic surgeon and routinely operate on women with complains of sagging breasts after having and breast feeding children.I am myself currently breastfeeding my second child and advise breastfeeding to all mothers. But all said and done, Breasts do sag with higher frequency in women who have breastfed than who have not. The reason being that the size and weight of breasts is highest during bresat feeding and the heaviness that stays longer due to added period of breastfeeding after childbirth leads to more damage to ligaments than pregnancy alone.

It's good but can be made more informative - like -- how frequently a babe of 2-3 months should be breast fed in a day? -- Is it correct to feed the child in a lying position?
