Losing belly fat seems to be a strenuous prospect for people who wish to trim the inches around their waist. It is seen that men usually end up holding most of their body fat around their waist. It is known by fancy names like love handles, beer belly or pot belly.

The stress levels, sedentary work style and lack of physical exercise offer their contribution in the development of the potbelly. Belly fat is quite difficult to lose as it is of a stubborn variant and one needs to work hard to effectively reduce it. Given below are certain simple rules that can help you to lose the belly fat with elan:


Avoid Junk Food
 

Junk food must be completely thrown away from your menu. The high sugar content of the cookies, brownies and chips are the evil features of junk food. Besides, most of the junk foods carry a huge amount of refined carbohydrates that result in a sharp rise in the blood sugar levels of the body. This slows down the fat burning process and makes you feel hungry. Thus, a vicious circle simply refuses to let you succeed in weight loss.


Check Your Carbohydrate intake
 

Carbohydrates are an essential requirement for our system but there are good and bad crabs that we need to differentiate. The white bread, pasta, donuts, cakes and biscuits are made of refined flour and ought to be avoided. They are not easily digested and cause bloating and eventually result in the accretion of stubborn fat. These are therefore the ‘bad crabs’. Fruits and vegetables contain ‘good crabs’. Certain pulses, oats and brown rice contain beneficial crabs and as they are released in to the body slowly, it helps in effective digestion too.

In order to lose belly fat fast and successfully, you need to ensure that the metabolism level of your body is high enough. So limit your carbs intake as otherwise, it will shoot up your insulin level that will in turn slow down the metabolic rate. Therefore, to avoid this predicament, it is advisable to balance he meals with a fair blend of carbs, proteins and vegetables.


No Late Night Snacks and Boozes
 

Belly fat is directly related to these two culprits. Since there is no activity following the late night snack, the sugar levels in the blood shoot up instantaneously. You need to be on a strict diet if you wish to lose belly fat. High alcohol consumption leads to the accumulation of fat around the waist. One ml of alcohol has seven calories and is totally devoid of nutrients.


Finally, Exercise!
 

There is no substitute for regular physical activity. If you lack the motivation to workout on your own, you can enroll in a gym or hire a personal trainer. Weight training should be a part of your workout regimen to reduce belly fat. You must also do intensive exercises like interval training and circuit training. Also, remember the fact that belly fat is quite natural. The fat actually provides a cover for the safety of the internal organs. So all exercise must be performed under the monitoring of a certified trainer.
