TOMATO-MINT RICE Recipe | Main Course Recipe by Niranjana |
| INGREDIENTS | Tomato-1/2kg,Big onion-1, ginger garlic paste-2 tsp, cloves-4, cinnamon-1" piece
rice-1 cup,water-2 cups,tamarind water-2 tblsp
TO GRIND:
small onions-10 nos
green chillies-5
mint leaves-40-50 leaves
corriander leaves-same quantity as mint leaves
jeera-1 tsp
garlic-4 pods
coconut-1/2 shell
somph-1tsp
| METHOD | 1. In a cooker add oil,add ginger garlic paste fry well.
2. Add the grinded mixture then add tomatoes(cut) and onions(cut) along with it.
3. Add cloves and cinnamon to it.
4. Then add water,salt.
5. Add tamarind water and rice.
6. Pressure cook it in slow fire for 10 mts.
7. Serve it with raitha. |
