VATHAKUZHAMBU Recipe

  INGREDIENTS
Tamarind - lemon size
Small Onions - peeled : finely cutted cups
Thuar dhal - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds
Curry leaves
Sambar powder

  METHOD
1. Prepare the tamarind water enough for kuzhambu. keep aside.

2. Take a tawa and pour 2 tbsp oil after five mins, add mustard     seed, thuar dhal, onions, curry leaves and finaly sambar powder     in that oil.

3. After 5 mins add tamarind water salt and asafatodia powder. Allow     to boil till it becomes thick. This is very taste to eat.

Comments:   akila good that u use thur dhal but in vathal kuzhambhu we use only gram dhal (kadalai papruppu) and do not forget to put vendayam.... ummm mouth watery....
