35 year old Namitha is a consulting editor and writer who lives in Delhi with her husband and their one year old son, Anant (aka Bim). She had an idyllic childhood in Kenya, where besides studies, much time was spent in serious pursuit of the waves in the Indian ocean, and reading books by authors like Gerald Durrell and Somerset Maugham. She moved back to India in the early eighties, and later obtained a master's degree in ecology, and certificates in environmental education and disaster management. When she gets a spare moment from editing a monthly publication for animal health professionals and looking after the baby, she loves to read about parenting, and bake treats for family and friends.
