i had chicken pox when i was carrying my baby but luckily for me , i was vaccinated. i had the rashes and everything but severity was not much. there was no harm to my baby also as he was born normal. i thank my doctor for suggesting me to be vaccinated against chicken pox other wise i could have lost my baby

vaccination is the most effective and only way of contracting this diseases. with vaccination, the severity of the disease if contracted during pregnancy becomes annulled or is reduced. chicken pox can result in severe deformities or birth defects in the baby.

chicken pox is a deadly disease if contracted during pregnancy. The incidences of chick pox during pregnancy are rare now due to awareness and vaccinations. more awareness is needed to get rid of this altogether.
