Many a times a child is unable to express true emotions and confuses them with other feelings.Like hunger is expressed by anger attention is demanded by tantrums , so it would be apt to understand the basic reason for your childs sudden emotional outburst or upheaval. The reason a child talks and lets out all that he has seen or observed out vocally is that coherant emotional expression is an art that needs to be cultivated and nurtured over the years. This also leads to emotionally stable adults as they can target and reason out their emotionaaly weak area. Having said all this , the summary stands at being a good listner as a parent and reading between the lines and putting the words in the childs mouth after rationalizing the cause for the emotional upsetter. The security it gives the child is phenomenal and leads to a content child and subsequently an adult.

It does really help in understanding the children. My son tells me stories after he comes from the Orchids school. It is interesting to understand their emotions and respond to strengthen the bond.

Listening is good for bonding and also helps a child to follow the right path. Many emotions get pent up within a child and if it is not listened to, then it can create problems. the child can become a loner.

Avinash was not happy with the way his wife Neena handled their 6-year-old Pranav. Avinash believed that listening to children helps in the their development. He also believed that if parents patiently explained the right behavior to their children, they normally understood. However, the process of listening involves more than just listening to the words literally. True listening entails that the listener understands the feelings expressed by the speaker. After understanding the feelings, it is also important to communicate this understanding of the feelings back to the speaker. Do you agree to the fact that listening to your child will help you better to understand his problem? Share yout thoughts!
