i m using hair removing cream for this purpose.. is it safe for my skin?? what may i do if this is not recommended.

yes i m in my 4th month.. i would like to comment that but in the same site one of the answer was that waxing is not recomended.. someone did and after the birth she got a dark patch on the waxed area.. will this problem occour if i do shaving???
