Feeding:hunger medicine

Hi All
My daughter is 19 months olds .Her birth weight was 3.35 kgs and now she is 10kgs. she has been maintaining this weight since the last 5 months .She is a very fussy eater . 2 months back she had almost given up food entirely.
Her Pead advised Cypon drops for a month which helped a lot .
Even after the dosage was over she was ok with her food for about 15 days but now again it is the same story again.
She hardly takes any milk (only about 100-150ml )in the entire day.
She prefers only sweet items .so even her rice she wants to have with ghee and sugar and nothing else .She hates dal or veggies.
To make up for the milk I try to give her Kheer/samiya/daliya/custard .which she eates somtimes.
But the quantity she eats is vey modest no where close to the 1/4th or 1/3 rd mentioned on this board.
I spoke to her Pead who again advised me to give her Cypon for another one month only if i was really worried.
I really wonder if thats a good idea.
I an highly worried about her weight had her appetite. Is taking so much sugar ok for a 19 month old?

Somebody pease advise me I am really worried

Hi Lucky,
So i think for nine teen months baby hunger medicine is not so required because when they feel hungry they will have some thing so do not think like that.

Hi Lucky,
I can understand your concern but i would suggest you one thing that instead of giving hunger medicine it is better make your kid to play physically a lot and then definitely they would eat.

Hey lucky

this not really a problem.Try to feed her with different foods.try to feed her fruits boiled and made into paste.such type of sugars are good for health.also avoid direct sugar and you have to mak eher used to dal and veggies which has lot of protein in it.This helps in building body weight.

Hello Lucky,
So you can consult to the doctor and then solve it because you could not take the medicine of your own and you just find out in how much quantity it is taken also. Then only you will not face any problem also.
