Hair Care:Boy cut
2014-07-08
Name: Rukmini

Oh my! What an experience! Finally, yesterday, I had the haircut I and my hubby were looking for. I was looking for above the collar short hair cut. My husband was bent upon a clipper boy cut. And since it would be a regular affair, I agreed with my husband to do it in a barber shop to keep the cost down.
Since the April gundu in Nanjangud, I had grown about two inches of hair. Yesterday my husband took me to the barbershop which he visits. I had steeled myself not to be bothered by the puzzled looks, giggles of the males. My husband told the barber to give me a clipper boy cut. The barber did just that after caping me - ran the clippers on sides and back and trimmed the top hair neatly. Now I look like a college boy. The sides and back are shorn to skin to about an inch above the ear. The clipper feeling was really great! Even my m-i-l who would have scowled at my looks otherwise smiled and said I look good this way. My husband is very happy and so am I. I have decided to have this haircut once a month.

Hi Rukmini, boy cut is always the best if all i feel no hair fall problem, you also are free from all sort of hair problems like dandruff and heat boils which you get over your head during the summers.

Hi Rukmini, thats cool it will surely give you a very good appeal if you get a tatoo done below your neck. Short hair always gives out a bold appeal and is preferred by a lot of people these days.

It is very daring of you to just storm into a barber shop for a haircut that you want along with your husband. I can not even imagine to get a cut like you as i am very afraid to cut my hair short.

Bob cuts are very much in trend right now and it is not just about the trend but also it is very difficult to take care of long hair and it is much easy to take care of small hair and much more comfortable.

If you like short haircuts why don't you try the ones that are a little different from the normal boycut. I have noticed people with one specific cut that is short from behind but a little long from the front side.

Clipper boy cut is quite in fashion right now and not only boys and men are going for it but also girls and women are quite interested in having short hair as it is quite convenient and a lot less work.

After my first boy cut in July 2014, I am keeping it like that with a boy cut every month in barbershop. I found that I was three months pregnant a month after my first boy cut. So in Jan 15, I gave birth to a baby girl, a week after having that month' s boy cut. As advised by elders, I stopped cutting for a few months. I returned to my boy cut today, with a neat clippering all around and scissored top. I will stop cutting my hair from July. My in-laws have agreed to my proposal of tonsuring my daughter when she completes 10 months in November. As desired by mil, I and my husband will also be tonsuring on that occasion. So I will be growing my hair from July onwards hoping to get hair long enough to cover my ears. And in Nov it will be Tirupati tonsure.

Dear Krishna
Thank you for your wishes. Self and kid are well.
I have become so accustomed to clipper boy cut that I feel uncomfortable with any hair touching my ears. My husband also does not like me to have hair long enough to touch my ears. But going to Tirupati with the usual monthly haircut is also not a good way of expressing our devotion. Hence as a via media I will be dropping hair cut for about 4 months.
After Nov gundu, I hope to start back my boy cut in Feb 16. But it is also likely that I may keep my head bald every fortnight till I am declared pregnant again. A decision will be taken after Nov gundu only.

Hi Rukmini,
It´ s Happy to hear that you gave birth to Baby Girl and How are you and how is your small baby
And happy to her that your planing to go form tonsure along with your baby first tonsure occasion and you told that you will stop doing hair cut from July onwards but if it possible better to stop doing hair cut from now onwards why because if you stop doing hair cut from now onwards your hair will grow more then you can give bit long hair to god so once think about this and come to one decision
