Fear of Pregnancy – Tokophobia:Fear of dying in labour
2013-01-16
Name: Lathika I think it is funny that I fear childbirth process. I' m worried about whether or not I' ll be able to handle labour. Is there a danger of dying during childbirth? Maybe you will think I am nuts but this does cross my mind and I doubt I' m the only one.

Subject:  Being realistic
Hi Maina, dying during childbirth is not a part of fiction or movies but it happens in real life also. Be more realistic. There are many instances where mother can die during childbirth. It is best to consult a doctor so that he can rule out any complications and ensure smooth delivery

Dying in labour happens mostly in movies. It very rarely happens in real life unless there is complication in pregnancy. if you have fear of labour then you can opt for caesarian.
