My son is 2 yrs old and has been going to a playschool. I want him to be in a nursery as I feel he can cope up with the studies. Should I admit him in nursery class? Meera replied. Hi Sam do not be in a hurry now itself this is not the right age to send your kid to pre school as well so dont think about nursery now itself. So wait till your son completes 3 years which is the best age. NN replied. Playschool at the age of 2 is perfect and i think you should let him be there as for now and you can shift him to the nursery after a year. You should not hurry too much for your child. Guddi replied. I think it is not smart to think about sending a 2 year old kid to preschool. A lot of development is still needed for his brain to cope up with the study in preschool. You have posted that your son is only two years e can't even talk properly why are you so hurry on his studies there is lot of time to study let him enjoy his child life i would suggest not to join him in school. Rosy replied. Hello Sam,
I think this might not be the correct age of joining the school, its better you wait for more one year, if you want your kid to be smart and sharp you teach him alphabets, numbers and rhymes. This might be helpful for admission also. red rose replied. i am sure there is no school which admit 2 year old kid in a nursary. the laws say so but you can admit him in play school for another year so in future his age and his studies will not burden him. you should take advice from consultants. gaurang mishra replied. It is advisable to consult with the appropriate school in prior about the admission. Also try to ask some basic questions to your kid’s standard and then confirm with his mental thinking ability.
Jinal replied. Most preschools will start accepting children at around age 2 ½, but that doesn' t mean your child is magically ready for preschool when he reaches that age. Readiness for preschool has more to do with where your child is developmentally.
