Pains in the post delivery period

Pains in the post delivery period may become severe. I had severe pain which i mostly experienced during nursing my baby. This as the doctor told me was due to contracting uterus. I also had sweating during the contractions. it was really very painful.

New mothers experience pains after delivery in different parts of the body as a part of healing process. the abdominal pain is due to contraction of uterus, while breast soreness is sue to surge of milk. Pain in other areas can also be experienced by some mothers.

Causes of pains and aches in post delivery period

The main cause of pain during post delivery period is due to the changing hormones. Hormones cause uterus to contract as a result you feel abdominal cramps. Breast pain is also experienced due to excess milk flow. Water is also expelled from the body and this also causes pains and aches.
