Some amount of tear is common during delivery and this cannot be avoided. In some cases, epsiotomy needs to be done to aid delivery and this requires 2 - months for healing. sex during this period will be difficult and painful. Bleeding also occurs after delivery and this gradually tapers off. This also takes about a months time. All these issues affect sex post delivery

Delaying post delivery sex helps in complete healing. This also prevents further wear and tear to the perineum during intercourse. Thus intercourse will be a painless experience.

Post delivery there is soreness due to laceration and tear during delivery. If episiotomy had been done then there is more pain. Postnatal depression issues may also arise. All these lead may make intercourse undesirable.

RE:Saree Below Navel
Hi Sindhuja,

Continue wearing saree below your navel, but make sure it is covered. If you have deep and big, pin your waist saree. Avoid transparent sarees.... - Raj [View Message]
