Hi

My sons Date of birth is 03/03/2009. He completes 3yrs and 3 months by june 2012. I was planning for his pre KG this year and when i was inquiring with schools i found some schools telling me that as such he is eligible for LKG this yr itself. But i feel he is not matured for LKG and also does not have any earlier schooling exp.
If incase he is going to take up his LKG next year he would have completed 4 yrs and 3 months. I also feel that he will be too big for LKG. I also have a feeling that he will waste one year of time if i put him in LKG the next year as he is eligible this yr itself.
Iam confused. Friends kindly share in ur personal experience. Help me with the advtgs and disadvntgs i will have if he is admitted next yr. Ravs replied. Hi Ranjani,

I dont even remember when i did my LKG, my parents didnt even gave that much deeper thought, as this generation is giving. We are too confused and we want our generation to be the best. That expectation is wrong i feel.

My niece is 4yrs 3months, she started in LKG. She is unable to concentrate on the Alphabets. She is not concentrating too. But she is active and loves playing around. my son' s DOB is 31.12.2008.he was admitted to play gr at the age of 2 yrs 2 mnths but he has not adjusted till date.now he is in LKG but cant cope up with the standard,theres a lot of writing skill in LKG,i am confussed and frustated,giving second thought of repeating him again in nursery....really confussed,he cant attend school regularly due to health issues and is still a cranky child in the school though he is very jovial in general.kindly suggest some solutions.
