I have personally experienced the goodness of figs. Regular intake of figs can do wonders for your health. They can be eaten fresh or dry to get the health benefits. They have high amount of calcium, iron, potassium and fiber so good for bones and bowel movements.

Is there any natural way of curing constipation? I am suffering from severe constipation. I am taking medications for the same but I want some natural remedy. Can I take figs for the same?

Hi Shree, figs are very good for constipation. It is rich in fiber and is a natural remedy for constipation. It is good for digestion and helps in healthy bowel movements thus preventing constipation. Besides this, figs have host of other benefits as they are rich in antioxidants.
