I am going to give birth to twin girls in Aug,03. I already have one kid and I think i won't be able to support 3 babies so I want to give one of my girls to an Indian family willing to adopt a baby. We are in US. Anyone interested pls let me know.

Swathi i dont think anyone is trying to judge anyone here. Its just that we are expressing our opinions as this is a message board.

I can understand no one knows what Ritu is going through. But the fact that she lives in US make its quite clear that financially they are sound. Then what could be the reason that a mum wants to separate a child from herself.

I know a very good friend of mine who got triplets and not very financially sound, but yes the children have grown so beautifully and the mother is so happy now. She had taken a lot of pains for 3 years or so but now she is so happy. How can a mother separate herself from her child, i dont think any explanation holds good on this issue.

First you say this is not a website for judging others. Then you judge her by saying that because she lives in the US that proves she is financially sound so shy would she separate a child from herself. I think there are a lot of birthparents out there who should consider adoption. There are lots of birthparents who are simply not good parents and never will be because they don't want to parent a child (or in this case an additional child). While I may not agree personally with separating children from one another (in this case, twins girls), but I am open minded enough to know that I don't know what this person is going through based on one message posted on a site. Give her a break and don't try to make it sound like she is hiding something.

Dear Ritu,

I am sorry for your decision in separating the twins.Even now you still feel like giving one of the baby for adoption, please let me know. I have already adopted a girl baby two years back legally and would like to adopt one more, as I cannot have my own. I am from Hyderabad, India.

Kindly let me know your details, if you are comfortable, if you are not committed to somebody else. Make sure, to whomever you are going to give for adoption, forget about your child and don't ever try to ask for the baby in future, as it may leads to problems, especially for the baby.

If you are absolutly sure about this decision, than the right thing to do is to contact an adoption agency who will put you through the process of finding a new loving home for your babies.

I agree with Swathi. Don't say anything against her. She is pregnant and all these comments might hurt her feelings which will make her feel bad and guilty. That is not good for her and the twins. She has to be calm and peaceful during her pregnancy. If u cannot encourage her views atleast stop discouraging her. Think the other way, if that is how the child has to grow nothing can stop it. Everything bound to happen is by the will and wish of the Almighty. So kindly wish her good luck. Thanks.

Ritu i must say u r a ruthless mother. How can u even think of disposing off one of ur child... u r cheap. The fact that u live in the US may prove that u r doing quite well in life. Accept Gods ways and dont try and go against it. Dont separate the twins for ur convenience. U r getting twins, accept it and go on in life.
