Weight Loss:unable to lose Weight
2012-12-26
Name: Shraddha I am unable to lose weight even a year after my delivery. Am I normal or is anything wrong with my body? Why do Ia have to struggle with weight issues even a year after delivery?

You are perfectly normal, you just need to find a diet and stick to it. Mild exercise like walking will also help. For further advice, consult a dietitian.

you are perfectly normal. If you have some doubts, then please get a complete checkup. sometimes unable to lose weight could be due to thyroid problems,or some other medical problems. I was able to lose my pregnancy weight within a year and a half.

many women feel like you when they are unable to lose all the pregnancy weight by 1 year after delivery. But weight loss after pregnancy can take a very long time, sometime it may even take years. Gradual weight loss is the best way to go. Do not lose hope.
