I have irregular periods. I have been trying to conceive for quite some time. I have heard about the fertility drugs and that they aid in ovulation. Can I take these drugs without consulting a doctor? If yes then which drug would be safe to take?

You should not take fertility drugs without consulting your doctor. A doctor is the best person to prescribe the fertility drugs after going through your case. You may be doing more harm by taking the drugs yourself. These are very potent drugs and should not be taken without advice.

Fertility drugs as the name suggests aids in the process of ovulation. This is done by triggering the release of hormones which are responsible for ovulation. Fertility drugs are a boon for infertile women.
