Hello,

We are planning to go with IVF after failure of 2 times IUI.

We consult our city infertility center and they told us some 2 lakhs for IVF and 35k for egg frozen charge.
Egg Frozen: As they suggest, if by any chance we failed to conceive they will preserve our cells and use them without go through entire process and this will less costly.

They ask us to come after 2nd day of period and will start some initial tests like :AMOUNT - Rs. 22,430.00
RCH, Igp, TB, Gold Tcs, HCV( me and husband), Hysteroscopy, Semen and Semen graph ( Husband )

My question: Is these all tests comes within ivf package or they are excluded? Usually what all tests, medicines, charges includes in ivf package ??

Also looking your opinion on Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai - Dr. Hrishikesh Pai

I contact there over the phone and ask for charges, first receptionist ask us to visit and then define amount but when we emphasis on financial setup and ask for some average figure, they told us be prepare for 2lakh.
Doctor consultation fee: Rs. 1,250.00

I request to leave your opinion on Lilavati hospital and what all include in their package.If anybody gone through this hospital also share your experience with us.

But for the package it will be better if you meet the doctor and confirm everything about it. NN replied. See if you want to know the exact package as in what is included and what is not you should ask the doctor directly as he will be able to explain you much better. I do not know about the question you have posted but i can see the cost which is very high. I do not know the people why do they make money from the people who are in need of what they are lack off in their life. Nitika replied. Lapro-hystroscopy(55,000)depending on center
HSG(tube testing test-1000+)

doctors fees(around 100000)+medicines(40,000-60,000per cycle)+sonography or follicular study(4000per cycle)+random hospitalisation(10,000-20,000 depending upon hospital)

1st cycle is stimulation and retrival.so retrival needs all pre surgery blood test +day care.

Freezing and thawing is 35000-45000

this is approx.with centers like lilavati.U have to consider extra expenses for unforeseen things like overstimulation(for this u need salines and day care)

You should get in touch with them. As far as I know the IVF Package comprises all costs that you mention. The additional costs that you may bear would be accomodation and living expenses should you not have relatives close to one of her clinics, but there again, she would be able to provide you with a list of very well priced alternatives.

Here in Kolkata, you will find Dr J. (Mrs) Bhattacharya who is the last one from the team that did the first IVF baby in Cambridge (1978), that still practices.

Her peers every year, and this for over the last 10 years, recognise her as having the world' s best results across all ages.

For a full IVF package, inclusive of all medicines, you would have to plan a budget of Rs. 70,000.

I can only recommend her as you can rely on her unique experience, and more importantly, her honesty.

Her clinics are A.H IVF & Infertility Research Centre, and she is present and practises in Kolkata, Ranchi, Siliguri, Patna, Durgapur, Midnapur, and Bankura.

I would like to know is there somebody who can en-light me on IVF packages, What all include in this usual amount, Like once we fix a figure all initial tests amount include or we have to bear that.

I' ll appreciate if somebody who already gone through this process can guide us.
