have you ever had any experience with Dr. Priya Alvarez of the Bhakti Vedant Hospital? If yes then please tell me how she is.

Also i would love to know what is the normal birth plan in the BhaktiVedant Hospital in Mira Road Mumbai afsha replied. can u plz tell me which hospital is the best in mira road for childbirth Allan Dsouza replied. Firstly Priya Alvarez is no longer at Bhakti Vedanta hospital. She has now shifted to Umrao Hospital Mira road. My wife did meet her on a few ocassions.

Please find below the reasons why one should avoid going to such doctors.

She takes 2 patients at a time which is absolutely disgusting from a privacy point of view. There is always someone (another patient) listening to your conversation with the doctor, which is a turn off.
She mostly gets patients who are from the lower strata of society, so I guess she forgets that sometimes she has to deal with educated people.
She prescribes blood tests which costs around 5000- 7000 Rs which is again uncalled for. I went to another gynaec and I am paying much lesser.
She encourages you to call her on the cellphone, the Hospital flashes her no on various sites and she kind of fires you or talks rudely when you call on the phone even at 1030 am in the morning for a genuine reason.
What takes the cake is that her timings are from 8 to 2 but she is rarely available at 8 ..its always usually 9 am so if your a working woman forget Priya Alvarez, its high time Patients like us have \" a say\" ...its only when we all team up together that such doctors like Priya Alvarez will improve on their service
