I got my wisdom teeth out in high school, about 9th grade I believe. I had a Dental Plan at the time that really pushed for wisdom teeth removal to avoid future problems. I just went along with it. No problem though, I was fixed in no time!

My impacted wisdom tooth was creating problem for other adjacent teeth. My dentist suggested me to remove it. Impacted wisdom toot is very painful. I did not want to remove any of my wisdom teeth but I had to remove it because of the pain caused by it. It was not completely grown and had taken a longer time to erupt. It was causing irritation and itching, I was unable to sleep the whole night because of the pain it caused. I took regular and proper dental care, however I had to face tooth problem at the end of the day. Proper tooth care does not matter in case of impacted wisdom tooth. I do not know whether I am correct or not but I can state this from my experience.

Subject:  I have three wisdom teeth
My first wisdom tooth was very painful but the other two are not very. I did not even realise when I got the other two. I have observed that the second and third wisdom teeth erupted in the upper jaw. The growth of these teeth was also slow. Even in three years their growth is not complete. I think that these teeth are impacted wisdom teeth. I don not problem with these, I think that they will grow completely later on. Impacted wisdom teeth in lower jaw cause problem in most of the cases. I have not faced any problem with these teeth in the upper jaw as yet.

Subject:  wisdom tooth pain is horrible
I got wisdom tooth when I was in second year of my junior college. It was a very painful experience. The right end of my jaw was swollen so much that I could not close my mouth. I was not able to chew anything as I was not able to shut my mouth. It was not only paining but also itching and irritating. I could only have soup and I was fed up of having it for two days. I tried having a painkiller but it did not help. I was unable to cope with and finally I went to the dentist’s clinic. I never knew that I was my first wisdom tooth. My dentist told me that it was my wisdom tooth and gave me a single tablet. I was relieved from pain after that.
