Children improve their fine motor skills, concentration, and hand-eye coordination when they play games such as puzzles, lego and beads. Working independently also gives them practice problem solving. They help teach science concepts like cause and effect. gaining basic math skills by counting beads is a success. kids learn to identify shapes, and compare sizes through blocks. Building houses, roads, and forts help hone spatial skills that is very helpful.

preschoolers are at learning and discovering phase so they should be given games that boost such developments. Boosting coordinating skills and memory power with the help of games are very good. Games such as puzzles, memory games and putting a thing at its right place are good for overall development of the preschooler.Matching numbers and other matching games are also good.
