Parents should take interest in teaching rhymes from a young age. They should buy animated CDs and DVDs of rhymes as it makes learning easier. It is very important to explain the rhyme bcos when a child knows the meaning, he can grasp it and thus pick it up faster. While teaching any rhyme concentrate on the pronunciation of each word. Make sure your child speaks all the words clearly as it improves vocabulary and memory skills of the kids.Make listening to rhymes a regular habit. Make sure the kid enjoys rhyme sessions.

CDs and DVDs are great help in teaching nursery rhymes. They combine colourful pictures with a music and these help in learning better. The child learns quickly when he sees pictures related to the rhymes. The child is attracted to colorful pictures and the images are easily stored minds. If pictures are shown the child is able to recollect any rhyme. It also enhances the vocabulary and memory skills of the kids.DVDs are made keeping in mind the preference of kids so they are made attractive and more endearing. My kid learned all his rhymes by watching CDS and DVDs at home. He used to sing along loudly and sometimes dances along also.

Rhymes are an easy and fun way of learning.I like to teach rhymes by singing out aloud as i believe if taught in form of a song, it gets registered easily in a child’s mind. It also enhances the vocabulary and memory skills of the kids.Sometimes Cd' s of nursery rhymes are very helpful as child will learn quickly if shown pictures related to the rhymes. The images are easily stored in their mind.singing arouses an interest in them and thus they are able to learn quickly. technique of voice modulations will boost both the teaching and learning ability of the rhyme.
